glitch art is the artistic expression based on the aesthetics of corrupted and damaged media. this can be done in various forms of mediums and in all kinds of ways. my biggest influence as an artist is man ray, a surrealist artist who like myself experimented in many mediums, and is considered the "grandfather of glitch art" with is analog methods of photo manipulation . a lot of my work, especially my glitch art, is inspired by his works.
this is probably my favorite medium as it is so fascinating to me. It combines the visual aesthetics of destruction and chaos, analogue technology, and an intriguing philosophical sense of despair towards the destruction of art and culture, a longing longing for impermanence due to the realization of temporality of media over time.leaving the viewer with an impression of mortality of both ourselves and our society.
my style of glitch art expresses those themes and more. a dreamy re-imagination of reality. an eerie sense of the unknown. an unfamiliar sense of nostalgia. a surreal atmosphere of serenity.
